Architecture

Knouen OfficeSync’s architecture is a multi-tier synchronization application designed to read and write information from any line of business system.  This information is processed through an abstraction/mapping layer in the OfficeSync server layer and converted into a common set of information that can be processed by the OfficeSync client layer.  From the OfficeSync client application layer this information can be accessed by any client through a set of common application programming interfaces.

The flexibility of OfficeSync’s architecture allows it to act as a synchronization engine for almost any line of business application while simultaneously integrating that information into common client applications such as Microsoft Office.  Any application which can be extended can become a client for this information.
